All workshops can be altered or added to according to the needs of your group. These workshop experiences are base ideas to work and create from.

The starting rate for each workshop is 200.00 USD for 2 hours.

Words Of Go Activity

Workshop created for Planned parenthood Conference

Spontaneous poetry generator based on sights, smells, sounds, and visuals, engaging the audience's senses and showing them creative non stressful ways to make art. Participants share poetry at the end of the experience

Materials needed, projector, speaker, writing utensils and paper.

Question Box Activation

Can be added to workshops as an icebreaker, or act as a dialogue generating experience for group dialogue sessions, such as panels and intimate settings.

International Affirmation Station

Mantra creating

creating a drawing that represents how the person wants to feel in the future , think of what marks feel like joy, happiness and abundance in a practice session, without pressuring the participants to draw figures

Next the participant will make a Mantra of affirmation

Then Find the translation of the mantra in a language they admire, next they will put it on the bottom of their drawing, so it’s special and is committed to memory

On the back write the mantra in native language.

Lamination of final product optional based on available materials

Great for global audiences and people about to travel. This activity shows how language and images help us commit certain feelings and ideas to memory. It shows how things can be lost in translation but how there are many ways to communicate an idea. Combining language and visual art

Upcycling Workshops

A) Participants learn to create stencils to add cool designs to old clothing, adding patches stones, paint and beads to clothing.

B) Participants bring in old shoes and break them down to build them back up with interesting dynamic patch work and quilt making making techniques

Also have the option of building house slippers from fabric scraps table mats, and cardboard.

Seasonal Workshop

Planting seeds

Participants have the opportunity to choose from assorted seeds, learning benefits of the seeds and symbolism of the plant. They will then plant the seed they chose with an intention marking the start of a new cycle.

They have the option to write a reminder of their intention on a popsicle stick and stick it in their flower pot.

Next step is painting beautiful vibrant design on the pot. Last step is using a sharpie marker to write an affirmation to inspire them every day on the back of the pot. Participant will have the opportunity of watching their intention grow as the season unfolds.

Drawing With The printer

Fun way of teaching scanning to students. First students create a drawing, then use the printer to fill in missing details and build a story. It's a form of screen printing with the scanner. A great way to show how technology can strengthen our creative muscle and also teaches problem solving skills on how to create satisfying images with a limited palette or in an office setting. Where the mundane and technological meets the spontaneous world of art.
