Artist Antro Po

My practice is rooted in the exploration of diverse materials, where I find beauty in unexpected combinations. I often work with discarded objects and trash, transforming what is neglected into something meaningful and aesthetically striking. By using trash, I highlight the possibilities of recycling and invite people to reflect on how we can care for the environment we live in, while reimagining what we define as valuable or beautiful.

Sculpture allows me to give voice to my ideas and actions. Each work becomes a way of affirming consistency and persistence in our dreams, a materialization of resilience and transformation. I do not limit myself to a single material or style, but embrace the plasticity of many different elements, finding in each a potential for expression. Although my sculptures are diverse in form and material, they carry a distinct aesthetic that reflects my vision and artistic identity.

With this work, I seek to contribute to a broader conversation about sustainability, creativity, and the power of transformation, showing that from what is discarded we can build something both beautiful and lasting.

Notes from the Artist

I have a history of designing out door spaces, including murals, painting local hospitals, and constructing outdoor sculptures. I have also been commissioned by the Museum of Technology to construct a work utilizing outdated motherboards, microchips, and discarded technology. My mixed media sculpture is currently a part of the permanent collection.

Often I am called to create with challenging materials. My ability to reimagine discarded items has allowed me to showcase my work on national television in 3 different occasions. Most recently in 2025 I was invited to showcase work on Viva Tarde, and two weeks later invited back to Zap studio, to showcase at Grandes Manha.

I am extremely grateful for these opportunities, and open to continue to create work that help sustain the earth all over the globe.
